These days, it’s becoming increasingly challenging for kids to get close to animals, so we thought, why not bring a small Kiddy Zoo for our children? 🤔🐾
Last week, our children had the chance to interact with some animals that they might never have had the opportunity to get in touch with. 🦎🐨🦜
We brought in different types of animals, including reptiles, mammals, birds, and so on. 🦔🐰🕊️
After all that fun, we had a DIY Zoo Craft session to spark their imagination about these awesome animals. 🎨🐘🦓
In fact, all these activities embody the essence of the Reggio Emilia education system. 📚🌈
🌳 Environment Creation: Children explore and play based on their interests in the Reggio Emilia environment.
🎨 Open and Natural Materials: Natural materials offer children the freedom for creative expression.
🗣️ Communication and Friendship: Children forge friendships through communication and active listening during exploration.
🌐 Exploration in Various Areas: Children explore different areas, receiving information from various fields for a deeper understanding.
📚 Project Study: With phased learning support, children gradually uncover nuances behind diverse topics.
What makes it different from other education systems is that all activities are initiated by children, whereas teachers are just facilitators.
